09/10/2025 - Agentic AI: Revolutionizing Efficiency in Law Firms (UK)

argument: Notizie/News - Legal Technology

Source: Solicitors Journal

The Solicitors Journal reports on the emergence of "agentic AI" and its potential to significantly reshape the legal profession by automating complex, multi-step tasks that traditionally consume a great deal of solicitors' time. Unlike earlier forms of AI that required constant human prompting for each step, agentic AI systems can autonomously execute entire workflows, such as conducting due diligence, reviewing large volumes of documents, or preparing initial drafts of complex contracts, reducing tasks that took hours down to mere minutes.

This technological advancement is positioned not as a replacement for lawyers, but as a powerful tool to augment their capabilities. By delegating time-intensive and repetitive processes to these AI agents, solicitors are freed up to concentrate on higher-value activities that require uniquely human skills. These include strategic thinking, complex legal analysis, client relationship management, and negotiation. The article suggests that the adoption of agentic AI will enable law firms to operate more efficiently, deliver faster results for clients, and allow legal professionals to focus on the most intellectually demanding and rewarding aspects of their work.
