The White House issued an executive order establishing a national effort to promote the export of American AI technology stacks worldwide. The order mandates the Secretary of Commerce, in consultation with other federal officials, to create the American AI Exports Program within 90 days. This program invites industry consortia to submit proposals for full-stack AI technology packages, including hardware, software, data pipelines, security measures, and applications.

The initiative aims to preserve U.S. leadership in AI, reduce reliance on adversary technologies, and support allied countries in fostering innovation-friendly regulatory environments. The Economic Diplomacy Action Group will coordinate federal financing tools such as loans, equity investments, and political risk insurance to support priority export packages. The order emphasizes strategic alignment of technical, financial, and diplomatic resources to accelerate global deployment of American AI technologies.
