Belarus, in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), has launched a national initiative to improve the quality, safety, and reliability of AI services across key sectors. The program introduces new guidelines, best practices, and evaluation criteria to ensure that artificial intelligence technologies are transparent, ethical, and beneficial for citizens.

The initiative focuses on the importance of robust oversight, regular monitoring, and stakeholder engagement, including government, private sector, and civil society. The project also aims to build public trust in AI and align Belarusian standards with international norms on ethics and safety.

By strengthening the governance of AI services, Belarus seeks to foster responsible digital transformation, minimize risks, and create a foundation for sustainable innovation in technology.
