California Medical Association announces its 2025 Health Information Technology Summit, where AI’s role in improving value-based care will be a central theme. The event will bring together health professionals, regulators, and tech developers to explore how AI tools are being used to optimize patient outcomes and resource allocation.

Topics include algorithm transparency, medical liability, compliance with HIPAA, and ethical frameworks for clinical AI deployment. Workshops will address both the promise and risk of integrating intelligent systems into everyday care.

The Summit will take place in May 2025 in California.
