UNESCO reports the successful implementation of its global AI training initiative for civil servants in 31 countries. The program aims to equip public sector workers with the skills to understand, evaluate, and responsibly implement AI technologies in government services. The training addresses ethical governance, algorithmic bias, data protection, and inclusive policy development.

The initiative is part of UNESCO’s broader effort to promote human rights-based digital transformation across all levels of public administration. Participants included representatives from Africa, Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East.
